Ross Juniors U10 Boys Colts enjoyed their first victory today in only their second ever game as a team, edging an entertaining game against Belmont 3-2.

An open first half finished 0-0 mainly due to excellent goalkeeping by Harry for Ross and the Belmont keeper, both making good saves to keep it scoreless. Zach had an outstanding first half driving Ross forward from midfield.

Ross started the second half positively and took the lead when Ethan finished an excellent team move that started deep in their own half. Ross took confidence from this and good work from Dan and Bobby helped Harry score two quick goals to make it 3-0.

Belmont showed great character to pull two goals back, and only some brave goalkeeping from Corey, and last ditch defending from Mario and Rhys, enabled Ross to hold on. The whole team could be proud of their contribution to a good game.
