Local singer and ukelele player, Ed Brooking, will also be performing, kicking off proceedings at 5pm.
Saturday’s Arts & Crafts market and the Jitterbug Circus for kids will open from midday and local wellbeing choir, the Border Belles, will perform at 1.30pm.
Forest Thump, local samba band, will take over and run a drumming workshop after 2pm before Wye Valley River Festival’s relaxing mandala dance workshop under the stretch tent during the afternoon.
Street food and drink will be available onsite including Fabioni’s Pizzas, The Crab Shack, Bunto Street Kitchen, Doughnutz, Kelsmor Dairy plus real ale from local microbrewery, The Tap House, wine & beer from Vintage Mobile Bars and gin cocktails from Fizz Origin.
The evening programme will start at 6pm with a second set from DJ Andy Kershaw followed by the incredible Serbian gypsy jazz trio, Faith I Branko, who will get you in the mood for international legends, The Turbans.
The stellar headliners will bring their vibrant and unique sound to Ross-on-Wye with band members originating from countries including Turkey, Bulgaria, Israel, Iran, Greece and the UK.
Evening performances will be live streamed on the town council’s Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.
