Peter Hickman Hairdressers in Ross-on-Wye have confirmed in a statement that they have had to close the salon due to an outbreak of COVID-19 among some staff members.

In a statement on their Facebook page they said: “Sadly due to an outbreak of covid-19 amongst some of our staff members we have had to close the salon as per self isolation rules and to keep our customers and other staff members safe.

“Please rest assured all customers who needed to be contacted via track and trace will have already received notification.

“Customers who had appointments booked from 21st to the 30th October have been notified. We apologise if we have been unable to speak to you in person but we have left messages.

“We will reopen Saturday 31st October.

Walk in barbers will reopen Tuesday 3rd November.

“We will be working closely with Public Health England, Herefordshire Council and Track and Trace.

“These are unprecedented times and we thank you for all your support.”

We wish those affected a speedy recovery.
