Police appeal after cat shot with air rifle

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses/information after a cat was shot in the leg with an air rifle in Ross-on-Wye.

The incident occurred on Monday, August 16th at approximately 7.30pm in the Middleton Avenue area. It is not known where the cat was at the time of the incident. Police say that no one has come forward with any information as of yet.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number: 00221_I_17082021

Nala has had an operation to remove the pellet from her leg, with the vet telling owner, Zoe Rudge, that she was very lucky. Nala is now back home recovering.
