A McDonald’s drive-thru could be heading for Ross-on-Wye after four different planning applications were submitted to Herefordshire Council for a site off the A40.

The four planning applications submitted so far for the site are for advertising consent, the planning application for the building itself has not yet appeared on the Herefordshire Council’s website.

The site is located off the Overross (Labels) roundabout.

A McDonald’s Spokesperson told Ross-on-line: “We can confirm that we have submitted an application for a new drive-thru restaurant in Ross-on-Wye.

“We are excited to be progressing with this opportunity and believe a new McDonald’s restaurant would bring significant investment to the local community, as well as create at least 65 new jobs.”
