Each year it is customary for the Mayor to send out Christmas cards to neighbouring towns, local groups, friends and family.

This year the Mayor of Ross-on-Wye, Councillor John Winder, would like to give the young people of Ross-on-Wye the opportunity to design the Christmas card.

The competition is open to anyone under the age of 16, with prizes for first, second and third place. The overall winner will have their design used as the Mayor’s Christmas Card for this year. The design must include an element of Ross-on-Wye.

The closing date for entries is 4th November at midnight. The winner will be selected by Mayor, Cllr John Winder, on 5th November.

The Christmas cards will also be available for sale during November and December in packs of 5 at £5 per pack, with all profits going to the Mayor’s Charity, Enviroability.

Terms and Conditions
The competition is open to under 16s only.

Entrants must be residents of Ross-on-Wye or the surrounding area.

Please provide your contact details with each entry, name, phone number, address and clearly state the category you are entering.

Please post your entries to The Corn Exchange, High Street, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 5HL or take a good quality photo and email them to admin@rosstc-herefordshire.gov.uk.

By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to the use of your entry in any publicity associated with the competition.
