Celebration Service announced for Joyce Thomas MBE DL

Following the sad passing of the much loved Joyce Thomas MBE DL, Joyce’s family have announced a Celebration Service of her life and her superb contribution to the community of Ross-on-Wye will be held at St Mary’s Church, Ross-on-Wye on Saturday 13th May 2023 at 1pm. All will be welcome.

The family have requested that any donations in lieu of flowers to be used to support funding for a memorial project in memory of Joyce which will be to support children and young people in the Ross-on-Wye community.

Cheques made payable to ‘Paul Deneen.’ (Paul as an independent person has kindly agreed to liaise with the family regarding the memorial fund).

Joyce passed away peacefully in her sleep at West Bank Residential Care Home on Monday 20th February 2023. Whilst at the care home Joyce received wonderful care and support from the family, the care home staff, and from St Mary’s Church and from her friends.
