Ross Juniors U7’s continued with their pre-season friendlies on Saturday morning with a trip to play Cotswold Rangers U8’s.

Once again this was a huge test for the boys, who were playing against a team a year older. From the start the experience showed, Cotswold controlled the game passing the ball with confidence and shooting at every opportunity.

Ross dug deep, and even with being behind in the game, they didn’t give up and didn’t get disheartened. The attitude they showed will really help when the season begins, and the experience they are gaining will be invaluable.

Vlad once again was great covering all over the pitch, and Sam made save after save between the sticks.

A Ross Juniors spokesperson said: “A massive thank you to Cotswold for accepting the game at such short notice and for being great hosts, we wish them all the best for next season.”

For their next game Ross will be travelling to Broadwell to play their under 7’s.
