After weeks of a traffic light system on Wilton Road, due to concerns over safety from rock fall, work will be done next week to enable the road to return to two-way traffic, although on-street parking on the road will be suspended.

Balfour Beatty plan to install concrete barriers and fencing next Wednesday 13th October, commencing at 9am and completed by 5pm on Friday 15th October. During this time the section of road by the rock face will be closed.

Balfour Beatty will be sending letters to local residents and businesses in the coming days to advise that the road will be closed temporarily whilst the installation works are carried out.
