Yesterday, Sunday 14th June, Aaron Benwell and his partner, Becca Armitage, from Ross-on-Wye walked a marathon (26.2 miles) to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

The is a charity close to both of their hearts, and they did the walk in memory of Julie Benwell (Aaron’s mum) and Dave Hopkinson (Becca’s grandad).

So far they have raised a fantastic £710. Aaron told Ross-on-line: “We have raised far more than we could have ever hoped for.”

Although the walk has been completed there is still time to donate via their JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/becca-aaron-marathon-walk?utm_source=Sharethis&utm_medium=fundraising&utm_content=becca-aaron-marathon-walk&utm_campaign=pfp-email&utm_term=f4141e8b9f4a4e6d9e4ea597d281eff3 or you can pop your donation into Creature Comforts on Gloucester Road.
