Balfour Beatty have issued an update on the work on the B4224 Fownhope.
A spokesperson said: “The grading of the bank is nearly complete and a cellular membrane has been applied to help stabilise erosion (see pictures). Top soil will be applied next before the work begins to reinstate the road.
“The estimated reopening of the road is still Autumn.”
