Town Council shows support to armed forces

Today, Thursday 25th June, the Mayor, Councillor Daniel Lister, signed the Armed Forces Covenant on behalf of Ross-on-Wye Town Council at a virtual ceremony with Cllr Barry Durkin, Colonel Andy Taylor, AVM Mike Smart and Ledbury Town Council.

This formal declaration shows commitment to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
