Businesses and residents have issued a warning for people to be vigilant following the attempted theft of plants and pots from Vine Tree Vets, and the theft of a large pot and plants from the community garden created by Roy Rogers at the brook behind the swimming pool.

Roy has spent a lot of time making the area by the brook look wonderful. He said: “Last night there were plants and a large pot stolen, it makes me very sad that someone would do this to the community they live in, and if they ask me I would give them plants and pots if I have them. I will not be replacing these items mainly because I get very disappointed and down, and there is a cost (£35) last night, and about (£12) the week before. I will look after what I have done and I hope that you go on enjoying the plants planted.”
