Ross-on-Wye hair salon victim of robbery
Reds Hair Company on Henry Street in Ross-on-Wye were victims of a robbery last night 8th March.
In a post on their Facebook they said: “At around 9.05pm, a man, described as short (5.ft 3) white man around 50+ years of age, wearing black track suit, dark red baseball cap and a green/camouflage neckerchief as a face covering, came into Reds after-hours, and as a stylist was still working on a client he stole ghd electricals from our retail area.
“The man came in, and asked the stylist how much gents cuts were etc as a distraction, whilst looking at the retail stand, he then grabbed a few boxes of ghd electrical items (not currently confirmed what was taken but it was at least a 1 white & 1 black ghd unplugged worth £299 each ) whilst another man, described as taller, held the door open for him.
“Police have been and are looking to see if cctv is available. He ran off in the direction of Gwalia shop. If anyone saw or heard anything around this time in and around Ross, we would be very grateful.
“Thankfully, the stylist and her client are both ok, but what a horrible feeling!”
