On Sunday 3rd October, staff from The Property Hub in Ross-on-Wye took part in the world’s biggest-ever marathon, The Virtual London Marathon, raising £1339 for tic+.

From its infancy 3 years ago, Directors, Karren Simpson and Kate May, have always wanted The Property Hub to be about more than just selling and letting houses. “It’s really all about people, and we wanted to do something to help young people locally who are struggling with poor mental health in these difficult times.” says Karren. “So our team of 5 ladies, who normally work together, on Sunday walked together to make a positive change in our town.”

TIC+ (formerly known as teens in crisis) help over 3,000 children and young people between the age of 9-21 by providing free counselling and support for when life gets difficult. The services they provide can now be accessed face to face, online, or even anonymously through tic+ chat. There’s also support for parents and carers who are struggling to help their young people. www.ticplus.org.uk

Karren said: “We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated. We’re leaving the Just Giving page open for a few more weeks in case others wants to support this great charity  The Property Hub is fundraising for Teens in Crisis (justgiving.com) Otherwise, feel free to pop in to the office on Gloucester Road – we’ll be delighted to see you!”

Karren added: “A big shout out to those who cheered us on and encouraged us as we smashed our 26.2miles around Ross town and outskirts on  Sunday – your encouraging words really did spur us on!”
