Ross Garden Store continues to help the community
It has been a busy few months for Ross Garden Store. During the lockdown they transformed and adapted the business into a base supplying fruit and vegetables to those self isolating, and began offering deliveries around the town, and they also built a brand new online shop, which continues to grow.
Now restrictions have been eased they are back open to the public, in a restricted capacity, following the Government guidelines.
They are back in touch with local groups, doing what they can to support gardening and the love of plants within the local community.
Ross Garden Store have recently donated bedding plants to the Royal British Legion for their planters in the town, donated various plants, shrubs and herbs to the garden at Whitchurch School, which was badly damaged by the floods earlier this year, and are in discussions with The Friend’s of St Marys on how they can assist with a possible Open Garden event later this year.
Community is extremely important to every one at the Garden Store and they always show support where they can.
A spokesperson said: “It has been proven now more than ever, that we love our plants and gardens and in times of trouble-gardens are such a great way to seek sanctuary, get exercise and improve all round mental health”
