There was a welcome return of the seating area under the Market House in Ross-on-Wye on Friday 1st April.

Organised by Ross-on-Wye Town Council, the seating area is available on every non-market day, where table and chairs will be setup under the Market House for you to sit and enjoy your takeaway coffee and/or food from any of our fantastic local cafes and coffee shops.

The area is run by Andrew a member of the Town Council team, who not only offers a warm welcome to both residents and visitors, but he also manages the chess tables for anyone who wishes to play. The chess tables are available every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The seating was a new addition back in 2020 to help with Covid restrictions and proved hugely popular, which is why the Town Council have continued the service.

Please note, they will continue to operate a covid-safe policy with hand sanitiser available at all times and tables and chairs will be cleaned regularly with antibacterial spray.
