Police issue warning following number of vehicle crimes in Ross-on-Wye

West Mercia Police have issued a warning to Ross-on-Wye residents to be vigilant following a number of vehicle crimes in the area.

At 4am this morning, Wednesday 20th July, an unlocked vehicle parked on Homs Road was entered and cash left on show was stolen.

Residents saw a male trying car door handles described as slim build, 5’8″ wearing a black baseball cap, blue t-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and trainers. He was carrying a black drawstring bag.

On Sunday 17th July, again at 4am, a male in a hoody was seen trying door handles of a van parked in Hill View Road. On this occasion no access was gained.

Police are reminding residents to review vehicle security, lock your vehicle at all times and remove any valuables from show.
