Organisers of Olliefest provide update
The organisers of Olliefest, which is due to take place in Ross-on-Wye over the August Bank Holiday, have provided the following update:
We wanted to send an update due to the current Covid-19 situation. At this present time and following the update made today from the government, we are still planning to go ahead with Olliefest 2020.
We are constantly planning and coming up with new ideas for the festival to ensure everyone will be as safe as possible. We have been in talks with all our acts and currently, the only act that will not be playing this year is EMF. They, however, have been rebooked for next year!
Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer the camping area safely this year in line with the government’s guidelines. We understand that many of you have bought a ticket and would like to offer the following options.
- Transfer your camping/entry ticket to Olliefest 2021
- Use your ticket for festival entry this year and donate the camping balance to the festival (£5)
- A refund in full
- Donate your ticket to the festival to help with the ongoing large running costs
For all those that have purchased the tickets online, we have sent out an email to you with the above option. If we are forced to cancel the event this year in the month of August we will then arrange more options for your tickets. All contact details will be kept securely as part of the governments track and trace system. Again we fully appreciate your support for our festival and we look forward to seeing you at some point in the near future!
More updates will be released in the coming weeks as the situation develops. Until then we hope everyone is well and staying safe in these difficult times. Please keep an eye on Olliefest social media and this website for more information, as and when it becomes available.
