National Day of Reflection to mark one year since first UK lockdown
Today, 23rd March, is one year since the first UK lockdown.
The day is being marked with a national day of reflection, and is being organised by the palliative care charity, Marie Curie.
The charity is asking people to reflect on those lost to the pandemic and how we process our grief.
As well as the minute’s silence at midday, the charity and its partners are asking people to light a candle and put it in their doorstep or window to acknowledge the milestone and remember those who have died.
The Ross Parishes will be participating in the National Day of Reflection with a short service starting at 11.55am at The Plague Cross, St Mary’s Church or at the Lychgate, St Michael’s Church, Walford. The Ross service will be live streamed on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/StMarysRoss/
