The incident happened in Eddys Lane, The Pludds, at around 3.35pm today (Saturday 2nd May 2020).
A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene after members of the public reported a BMW had crashed.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or the car being driven prior to the collision who hasn’t spoken to police should call 101 and quote incident 297 of 2 May.
