Ross Gazette editor made redundant
It has been announced that Jo Scrivin, editor of the Ross Gazette, has been made redundant.
Jo has worked at the Gazette for over 20 years and has been a huge support to the community of Ross-on-Wye.
Jo told Ross-on-line: “After 20 years travelling between my home in Pontypool and Ross it seems very strange to have spent so much time at home. Thankfully social media and technology is keeping people together. I have been so pleased to see reports of the wonderful ways Ross people have pulled together at this difficult time, and I really miss talking to you all and reporting it. I would like to thank you for all your support over the past 20 years and I hope to visit Ross as soon as I can, when restrictions are lifted, but for now will stay safe at home.”
I was lucky enough to work with Jo for 13 years, and during this time she became a dear friend as well as a colleague. I wish her all the best for the future.
