This weekend, all adults across Herefordshire who haven’t had their first Covid-19 vaccination are being encouraged to do so.

Appointments are available at various locations across the county, including Elgar House in Hereford. You must book your slot by calling 119 or visiting https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/coronavirus-vaccine/.

Rebecca Howell-Jones, Herefordshire’s Director of Public Health said: “I’d encourage everyone who has yet to book their vaccine appointments to take the opportunity to do this now.

“This is a really important action we can each take today to protect ourselves, our families and Herefordshire communities. If you have questions about the vaccines please look on the nhs.uk website, by searching ‘NHS covid vaccine’.”

More appointments, as well as walk-in clinics, may be available outside of Herefordshire for anyone willing to travel. The National Booking System provides up-to-date information of the nearest vaccination centres and sites that are available. People are encouraged to keep checking if a suitable location is not available straight away.
