Great result for Ladies Touch Rugby team in scorching conditions
On Sunday 10th July RRFC hosted the Midlands ladies touch league (MLTL) SW regional tournament in the scorching sun. Umbrellas, gazebos and ice lollies were definitely the order of the day when off the pitch.
Ross played 4 games back to back and finished the day as runners up. Ivy J was awarded Ross player of the tournament after a really great afternoon of touch rugby.
The team wish to thank the Hereford & Worcester Community First Responders from Ross-on-Wye for providing all the first aid support to the 5 teams and spectators during the day. In total £126 was raised for the charity during the afternoon.

The Ladies are not back in action until September at Ledbury, however training continues through the Summer. All ladies 13+ are welcome whatever level of fitness and ability. Monday 6.45pm at Greytree pitches.
Mixed touch is on Wednesday evenings.
During the Summer there will be some combined training sessions with ladies, and mixed touch sections.
