Following the news that the site in Gloucester is no longer available, the organisers of Gloucester Car Boot have announced that it is moving to The Cattle Market in Ross until it can return to Gloucester.

The organisers say that the cattle market is good site, all hardstanding and large enough to take their usual crowd of buyers and sellers.

The car boot will take place on Wednesdays and Sundays.

This has been met with mixed reactions by Ross residents, with some looking forward to it, and others concerned about the number of visitors that will descend on the area.

Update:

Gloucester Car Boot, which was due to take place in Ross-on-Wye on Wednesday, has had their permission to trade at the Cattle Market withdrawn.

On a post on Facebook the organiser: “Everybody, I’m afraid it’s Sundays only in Ross until we can get a Wednesday venue sorted out. I am so sorry.”
