Ross-on-Wye residents, Laura Timmins and Melanie Burns, have had a busy few weeks raising money and collecting toy donations for the Hereford Hospital Children’s Ward Toy Appeal.

Thanks to many wonderful donations from local companies and friends and family they have a huge pile of wonderful toys for the children and raised a fantastic £625 to purchase more.

Laura told Ross-on-line: “We had wonderful donations from Drummonds Farm, GB Motors, The Original Factory Shop and Morrisons. The £625 raised was from family and friends and my work colleagues at the Orchard Care Home. I am overwhelmed by how generous everyone has been, especially this close to Christmas and with the current COVID situation. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated.”
