Family pay tribute to ‘fun loving’ man who died in collision
The family of a motorcyclist who died in a collision in Upper Lydbrook last month have paid tribute to him.
Nigel Meadows, aged 53 and from Longhope, died at the scene after his motorcycle was in a collision with a car on the A4136 near Brierly Garage at around 1.50pm on Saturday 18th July.
His close relatives have said: “Nigel was born and bred in Longhope. He was a treasured son, devoted husband, proud dad and doting grandad who will be hugely missed following his tragic death.
“He was a much loved and popular man within the community and well known in the rugby, motorbike, football and construction community.
“Nigel was known for his fun loving personality and infectious smile which you would always be greeted with.
“He was always full of banter and always had a story to tell. His send off went exactly as he would of wanted it.”
