Alton Street Surgery have created a survey for the HR9 area to try to get an idea of how many people have symptoms, how many are isolating, how many are well, as they currently have little idea.

They issued the following:

Please fill out the form on behalf of people in HR9 postcode. Complete it once for each person you represent. Please don’t complete it more than once daily. We’re trying to avoid duplicate data which will make results less accurate. You don’t have to complete it every day, but it helps to if your symptoms change, so we can recognise that. It also really helps to record even if people are well. That is the only way we will know how widespread symptoms are.

Please share with people outside of facebook.

We will share the results as we have time to analyse them. If you have skills in analysing data get in touch.

We need to know how symptoms are changing, so have used a unique identifier so we can track responses over time. If you’re happy using a date of birth, that’s fine, if not there is an option to use something else. Keeping to the same identifier lets us track symptoms over time.

We need to move quickly. We’ve not had time to check if it’s GDPR compliant. If this bothers you, don’t fill it in. If anyone spots a problem, please do say. We won’t share any identifiable data. You can choose to add details so we could potentially link with your medical record for further research.
