Christmas tree stolen from Market Place
At approximately 9.50pm last night, Sunday 29th November, one of the Christmas trees from the planters by the Market House was stolen.
A witness described the man as approximately 5ft 10’ in blue jeans and a blue hoodie holding a Spar bag. It is reported that he had been in Spar before the theft. It is thought he may be right handed by the way he was holding the carrier bag. He walked down Pig’s Alley with the tree heading towards New Street.
If anyone has any information please contact the Safer Neighbourhood Team via email rossonwye.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk or call 101.
The trees have been organised and paid for by the traders of the town. Sadly this is the second reported theft of one of the trees.
