There are lots of events planned on and around the Platinum Jubilee weekend. Ross-on-line has compiled a list of some of them taking place locally.

Wednesday 30th April to Sunday 12th June

Thursday 26th May

Spring Gate Nursery are holding a Platinum Jubilee Party Fundraiser 3-5pm. Details:


Sunday 29th May

Scouts 1st Royal Forest are holding a Family Food & Fun event at Beaverlodge, Parkend. Details:

Monday 30th May to Monday 6th June

  • Art & Photographic Exhibition represented by local schools, organisations and art groups, St Mary’s Church

Wednesday 1st June

  • 19:30-21:00: Film screening of ‘A Queen is Crowned’ with refreshments – St Mary’s Church Hall – click here to book your free place

Thursday 2nd June

  • 10:00-12:00: Live screening of Trooping the Colour – St Mary’s Church
  • 14:00: Town Crier – The Market House

Friday 3rd June

  • 10:00-13:00: Live screening of the Service of Thanksgiving from St Paul’s Cathedral with refreshments – St Mary’s Church

Saturday 4th June

  • 10:00-12:00: St Mary’s Coffee Morning
  • 11:00-16:00: Wye Valley River Festival including street theatre, music and much more – Ross town centre, St Mary’s Churchyard and The Prospect
