Due to uncertainty about COVID-19 restrictions organisers have had to take the decision to cancel this year’s Walking Festival.

A spokesperson for Ross Walkers are Welcome said: “We have reluctantly decided to cancel this year’s Walking Festival because of uncertainty about Covid-19 restrictions for that time and the need to ensure our walking events are completely safe.

“We hope to run many of this year’s planned walks at our Festival next year, 24th to 26th September 2021 and hope to see you there… In the meantime, we’d love to welcome you to our beautiful town of Ross-on-Wye when circumstances allow and would be delighted to help you explore some local walks around the area – message us or see the website for more information www.walkinginross.co.uk/walks .

“It’s a challenging and uncertain year and we hope you and your family stay safe… and enjoy the wonderful outdoors if you can!“
