As lockdown is gradually eased, Herefordshire Council have been working hard to reopen libraries again. In-line with current government guidance, this will be a phased programme to ensure all services can be delivered safely.

Phase one will be the launch of a ‘Click and Collect’ service operating from Hereford, Ledbury, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye libraries. Customers will be able order books on an online form and collect them from the library. Safety measures will be in place to ensure the safety of customers and staff, including the quarantine of all returned items for 72 hours in line with Public Health England guidelines. Further services will follow on a site by site basis as soon as it is safe to do so.

Building checks are currently underway, and Click and Collect services will start at these sites as soon as possible when these are completed.
