Important update from Stagecoach:

We have been told that the B4234 will be closed between Walford and Kerne Bridge to allow for permanent repairs to a hillside prone to landslips and as a result, Services 35 and 746 will need to divert as follows:

Services 35 to Monmouth and 746 to Cinderfordwill begin by turning left out of Cantilupe Road in Ross on Wye onto Gloucester Road. At Hildersley roundabout they will turn left onto the A40.

When they reach Over Ross Roundabout, they will take the 2nd exit onto the A40 towards Monmouth. They will then continue along the A40, for 6.4 miles, until they reach the South Hereford Motor Caravan Centre where they will turn off onto the A4137.

They will then take the first turning on the right, the B4229 towards Goodrich.

They will then stay on the B4229 past Goodrich and over Kerne Bridge before turning right onto the B4234 to continue the normal route towards Lower Lydbrook.

Services 35 and 746 to Ross-on-Wye will turn left from the B4234 onto the B4229 to go over Kerne Bridge. When they reach the end of this road, they will turn right onto the A4137 following signs for the A40 Ross-on-Wye.

They will stay on the A40 until they reach Over Ross Roundabout where they will take the 4th exit into Ledbury Road. They will then use Millpond Street and Station Street (alongside Morrison’s) to arrive at Cantilupe Road.

We will not be able to serve any bus stops in Tudorville, Coughton or Walford, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
