On Saturday 26th March the Mayor of Ross-on-Wye, Cllr John Winder, held a Quiz Night at the Sports Centre to raise funds for his charity of the year, EnviroAbility.

The evening was a huge success with over 70 people in attendance who were all in full competitive spirit with the Mayor as Quiz Master. As well as the quiz, a raffle also took place with some fabulous prizes kindly donated by local business including vouchers to spend at Hanks’ Meat and Game, Peter Hickman and Lizzie Bunting, a hamper from Morrisons and a Brewery tour and gifts from The Bespoke Brewery Co. Quiz goers also enjoyed a fish and chip supper from Seven Seas.

The evening raised almost £1400 for EnviroAbility. The Mayor said: “A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped to raise a fantastic amount for EnviroAbility.”
