Hundreds of cards sent to Ross care home resident for 100th birthday

Ivor Hill, a resident at Westbank Residential Home in Ross-on-Wye, celebrated his 100th birthday today, 15th April.
A few months ago Ross-on-line posted an appeal for people to send cards to help Ivor celebrate, and he was sent a whopping 411 cards!
A spokesperson for Westbank told Ross-on-line: “Ivor had an amazing day. Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to either make or buy a card. Everyone in the home will now help him open all the cards”
