Face coverings in shops to be compulsory from 24th July

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that face coverings must be worn in shops and supermarkets in England from Friday 24th July.
The rules will be enforced by the police, not retail staff. Anyone failing to wear a face covering while shopping will be subject to a fine of up to £100, or £50 if paid within 14 days.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is expected to set out the new guidance on face coverings on Tuesday.
