Volunteers take part in community litter pick
Ross-on-Wye resident, Dean Powles, organised a litter pick on Sunday 18th October to help clear the areas in and around the town of litter.
Dean and five volunteers started in Ross town centre and made their way through Walford then onto Symonds Yat West. In total they collected 15 bags of litter, which included numerous cans and bottles, and 28 disposable face masks!
Dean is hoping to organise another litter pick next month, but is aiming for a shorter distance this time by focusing on one area! He is very grateful for the support and the equipment which was provided by the Ross Community Litter Clean Up Crew.
Well done Dean and all those involved!
