It was a poor day for both senior teams on Saturday in the Herefordshire County League. The 1sts were thumped 6-1 at Pegasus Colts and the reserves went down 2-1 at home to Burgshill Rangers.

The 1sts started very well and went ahead after 5 minutes with a tidy finish from Joe Thomas. After that it was uphill as they soon found themselves 4-1 down and it could had been a lot more by half time.

The second half continued with the hosts in total control to finish the game with a comfortable 6-1 victory. A very disappointing performance for the 1sts and they know that they will have to improve in all areas in the next game.

The reserves took on a very strong Burghill side and went in at half time 0-0 in an evenly contested contest. The visitors came out flying in the 2nd half and were soon 2-0 up. Paddy Virgo pulled a goal back with 15 minutes left and they almost equalized in the last minute but the post saved the visitors.
