Following the death of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, St Mary’s Church in Ross-on-Wye is open for people who may wish to light a candle, remember and pray.

The Royal Family has requested donations to charity, but if you prefer to there is an area in the Church to lay a floral tribute.

An online book of condolence has also been set up which is available here: https://rossremembers.org/doe

The Church bells tolled 99 times for the Duke this morning, and a commemorative service will take place in the coming week. The date of the service, which will be streamed online, will be confirmed once the details of the funeral have been announced.

The Church is covid secure, with hand sanitiser and a one way system in place. The church is open until 5pm each day for the next week for private prayer.
