This week Ross-on-Wye Parkrun held their second virtual 5k event and participant numbers were up by 30%, with 27 people taking part, plus 4 dogs!
The first 3 male finishers were Gavin Jones, Steve Rooke and David Warrington. The first ladies were Izzie Claxton, Catherine Finlay and Lucia Demkova.
A spokesperson said: “Whilst we love to celebrate the speedy runners for pushing themselves week after week, we have admiration for everyone who is starting out, returning from injury, running for fun and all the reasons in between.
“Some participants chose to include the event in a longer run, like Rachel Woods who smashed out her 2nd ever (and fastest) 10k and Nadege Rutter who completed a gentle 6.7km walk whilst recovering from achilles tendonitis.”
