The new river level gauge in Ross-on-Wye is now up and running following damage caused during the October 2019 and February 2020 floods.

The gauge, situated by the Hope and Anchor, broke and got stuck on 4.77m. As well as being raised, new telemetry equipment has been installed.

The new gauge will provide readings every 15 minutes which will be available via the website: https://flood-warning-information.service.gov.uk/river-and-sea-levels?_ga=2.111207940.1047132536.1595349023-1895123371.1595349023
