Ross-on-Wye couple heading to Romania and Ukraine to deliver donations

Katie Fowler, owner of Kts Craft Warehouse, has been doing an amazing job as the central hub for all local donations for Ukrainian refugees. However she is now taking her generosity and commitment to the cause to another level and will be travelling to Romania and visiting Ukraine to deliver some of those donations herself.
Katie will be leaving early next week, along with her husband Neil, for Romania where she will be staying at a University in Suceava. They plan to helping run people off the border and assisting with general duties like cooking. They will have two people with them who can translate.
While there they will be taken to Vinnytsia in Ukraine by the Mayor and visit the hospital in the city, where some of the aid from the Ross collection has been deliver to. Currently this hospital is being used for some of the Ukrainian military casualties.
Katie said: “We have a long list of things we need to get. Including some generators for when the power goes down, as they are struggling to keep the people alive who are on when the power goes.
“Another hospital we will be helping with but won’t go to is Valky in Kharkiv. They have had lots of babies born in the hospital and have nothing. So we have a mammoth task.”
They are desperate for food and medical supplies so if you would like to donate any items please drop them off to Kts Craft Warehouse this week ready for shipment early next week.
