Ross-on-Wye Town Council is looking forward to welcoming everyone to this year’s Christmas Fayre on Sunday 27th November, when the town centre, Broad Street and Croft Court, will come alive with over 70 stalls selling locally handmade arts and crafts plus delicious artisan food and drink.

There will be a huge range of gorgeous gifts to choose from, so why not do all of your Christmas shopping there? From decorations, candles, bath bombs, ceramics and jewellery, to cheese, chutneys, hampers, brownies and blankets – there will most definitely be something for everyone.

Whilst you’re browsing the stalls, enjoy a drink at one of the two bars or grab a delicious Herefordshire beef burger from The Beefy Boys or visit one of the other scrumptious food stalls – and to really get you in the festive spirit, during the afternoon there will be live music at the Market House from local choirs, The Border Belles and The Penyard Singers and solo singers, Erica Jean and John Winder, plus the fantastic Ross-on-Wye Town Band.

For the little ones, pay Santa‘s Grotto a visit at The Venue on Hill Street, where there will also be an array of charity stalls with plenty more gift ideas. Look out for the Grinch who will be causing mayhem throughout the day and trying to ‘steal Christmas’.

The Town Council have confirmed that Santa’s reindeers will be taking time out of their pre-Christmas training schedule to make a special appearance between 12-2pm. The reindeer, supplied by Smart Trees, are incredibly friendly and love fuss so be sure to pop by The Crofts and give them a stroke and take lots of photos.

A special guest will be turning on the Christmas Lights at 4.30pm, which include new hedgehog lights.
