Sadly on 6th March 2021 Rose Livesey passed away peacefully, after a long illness.
She leaves behind her children James and Claire, partner Geoff Thomas, son-in-Law Jesper Jensen, grandchildren Christian, Alfie, Noah, Anne and Oscar, brother Roger and his family.
Rose was a well known figure in Ross-on-Wye. She was the Proprietor and chef at The Rosswyn Hotel until its closure, as a result of a fire, in 2004. She was well loved by her friends, customers and staff, a very hard worker who also found time to play. She had many interests outside of her working life at the hotel including dining out, the theatre, cinema, travelling far and wide, walking with her dog Sam, and was a voracious reader. In her retirement she took up furniture restoration. She always had an appreciation of good food, having trained as a nutritionist and was an excellent cook with skill in a wide variety of cuisines. She was a very kind and generous person, always the first to offer help and support when needed. She will be very much missed by her friends and family.
Her funeral will be at the Forest Of Dean Crematorium at Cinderford on 18th March 2021 at 3.30pm. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions there is a limit on the number of attendees so attendance is by invitation only. However there will be a live broadcast. If you wish to watch this please contact William Bevan on 01989 562092 or email  enquiries@williambevan.co.uk and they will provide you with the access details.

She will make her last journey from William Bevan Funeral Directors, passing by the Market House at 14.45 and the Rosswyn before continuing to the crematorium, should you wish to pay your respects in Ross-on-Wye.

The family requests that there be no flowers but donations will be accepted for St Michael’s Hospice in Hereford. You can donate on their website at https://www.st-michaels-hospice.org.uk/get-involved/donate-in-memory/ or send any cheques to William Bevan Funeral Directors.
