Morrisons Ross-on-Wye have come up with a new way of donating to local food banks.

Customers select a ‘pick-up pack’ from the display next to the old customer service station, at the checkout the cashier will scan all items inside and place it back in the bag for the customer to place in the Donation Station, which is located by the cafe.
Each bag is marked with the total price of items inside so customers can choose a pack which fits their budget.

The idea has been rolled out in all Morrisons stores and so far is working brilliantly and generating really good comments.

The Ross-on-Wye store is supporting Ross Community Food Larder, Lords Larder in Newent and the Forest branch of the Salvation Army.
