Man arrested following burglary at Superdrug

A man from Birmingham has been arrested following a burglary at Superdrug in Ross-on-Wye.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Ross-on-Line: “Around 4.45am this morning (Monday 14 November) we received a report of a burglary at Superdrug, Ross-on-Wye.

“Entry was forced via the front door and merchandise was reported stolen.

”The suspect left the scene in a car that was quickly traced by officers and stopped near junction 4 of the M5.

”A 44-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He remains in custody.

“The merchandise was found in the boot of the car.”
