Fire crews were called to a fire involving crops near to Fawley Court yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 19th July.
A spokesperson told Ross-on-line: “Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station and the water carrier from Peterchurch were called at 14:08 on 19 July to standing corn and crops on fire at Fawley.
“The fire involved around 160 sq m of standing crop on fire and this was extinguished using two hose reels.”
