Ross Juniors U10s carried on with their pre-season preparations with a trip to Cinderford this morning, Saturday 22nd August.

The home side started well and went ahead through a thunderous free kick, but Ross reacted well, with Riley going close to equalising. Cinderford then struck the Ross post before doubling their lead. Some brilliant play by Euan set up Riley to grab a goal back for Ross just before half time

Ross started the 2nd half brightly, but it was Cinderford who grabbed a 3rd goal, before Zak saw two shots deflected onto the post by the Cinderford keeper. As Ross searched for a way back into the game, Ben pulled off two brilliant saves in the Ross goal. Just before the final whistle Morgan set up a chance for Timmy who slotted the ball past the Cinderford keeper, but there was no time to look for an equaliser.

Ross play hosts to Cinderford next Saturday.

Ross Juniors u10s are looking for new players to join this season’s squad. If in school year 5 and interested please contact the club on info@rossjuniorsfc.com
