Boulders have started being placed along the Rope Walk in Ross-on-Wye to replace the fence that ran along the entrance to the Rowing Club.

The Town Council took the decision to have boulders as it is more cost effective than fencing, which was continuously damaged from various elements including flooding.

The stone has come from the Forest of Dean and was chosen by members of the Town Council Amenities Committee. Some boulders are already in place, with more due to arrive over the coming weeks.
