Appeal for witnesses following serious assault

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses and any information to a serious assault.

The incident happened in the Rope Walk area at around 1.30pm on Sunday 6th September when it is believed that a 14-year-old boy was assaulted by another teenage boy.

Police Constable Ben Philpotts said: “This unprovoked attack, which we believe to be an isolated incident, resulted in the victim suffering a broken nose, cuts, bruising and concussion. I would ask that anyone who witnessed this incident to please contact us as soon as possible.”
